Focusrite ISA C8X – 26-in / 28-out USB-C Interface.
Focusrite ISA C8X is a 26-in / 28-out USB-C audio interface designed for professional studios requiring extensive connectivity, premium analog preamps, and flexible hybrid workflows. It combines two classic ISA transformer-based mic preamps with six remotely controlled Focusrite mic preamps, delivering exceptional sound quality for recording, mixing, and integrating outboard gear.
The two ISA preamps feature Lundahl LL1538 transformers with up to 79 dB of gain, while the six Focusrite preamps provide up to 69 dB of clean, low-noise gain. Selectable input impedance, high-pass filters, Console mode saturation, and 430 Air mode allow you to shape your sound directly at the input stage.
Built for modern studio integration, the ISA C8X offers dedicated line inputs that bypass the preamps, along with ADAT, S/PDIF, Word Clock, MIDI, USB-C, and 12 balanced outputs supporting immersive monitoring configurations up to 7.1.4. High-performance 24-bit / 192 kHz converters derived from Focusrite’s RedNet range ensure exceptional clarity and dynamic range.
Control routing, gain, monitoring, and Auto Gain remotely with Focusrite Control 2 for a streamlined recording workflow.
