Mark Foster Hoe Down

Now available for SATB, drawing on the musical themes from the American folk song “Boneparte’s Retreat,” this arrangement is upbeat and rhythmic. A fiddle melody is incorporated into 1-piano/4-hands accompaniment while the singers create sounds of the style and period. Teaching strategies are included in the comprehensive page 2 program notes.
