The SuperSoftie is a completely new approach to the slip-on windshield. The new shape& open cell structure along with specially designed 3D-Tex materialprovides increased wind attenuation performance compared to conventionalslip-on designs. It also achieves improved attenuation in extreme lowfrequencies and infrasonic frequencies protecting captured audio where windnoise is at its greatest.
3D-Tex Material
The SuperSoftie windshield is designed with 3D-Tex, a specially designed new materialthat combines enhanced acoustic transparency with outstanding attenuation ofwind noise without the use of fur. This new material covers an open-cell foamstructure rather than a rigid internal chassis to yield virtually no polarpattern distortion.
Ease of Maintenance
TheSuper-Softie can be quickly squeezed out and shaken dry when rain-soaked, orrinsed when dust-coated without affecting its performance. This extremelyrobust design will sustain excellent performance for years of use inchallenging environments such as news-gatherings.
