XLN Audio AD2: Black Oyster.
The Ludwig Black Oyster drum kit isn’t just any kit. It’s a piece of musical history. Remember when The Beatles stormed onto the Ed Sullivan show in 1964, Ringo Starr behind a Black Oyster Pearl set? That iconic image sparked a drumming revolution. Soon, aspiring musicians everywhere were saving up, and Ludwig struggled to keep up with demand!
This vintage kit sounds even sweeter today. The aged shells have matured, losing moisture content and gaining a rich tone. Brand new coated heads enhance the resonance, delivering that genuine early 60s pop sound. This versatile kit can also sit comfortably in the pocket for Motown grooves or explode into psychedelic rock jams.
Note: This expansion pack requires Addictive Drums 2.
